Selcable&#039;s members have unique technical knowledge of cable systems and installations. This knowledge is important when new standards, regulations and legislation are developed.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selcable participates in the standardization work of the non-profit organization SEK Svensk Elstandard. SEK Svensk Elstandard is a non-profit organization that is run without a profit interest and is appointed by the government to be responsible for all standardization in the electrotechnical field in Sweden. 800 experts participate in the work Selcable is one of. Representatives from Selcable also participate in corresponding European\/international working groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since July 1, 2017, the EU Construction Product Regulation (CPR) has been mandatory for cables in buildings on the European market. The focus group monitors and works to implement the requirements of the CPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Focus group members consist of experts from member companies and represent the entire industry in the focus group.
