Circular solutions and sustainable material management are important for the cable industry, which is actively working to develop solutions for recycling, material efficiency and circularity. This work is done, for example, through projects such as cable recycling and waste classification. Selcable members work actively to achieve high sustainability goals. The cable industry's expertise is needed in the development of regulations and standards. Selcable's members have unique technical knowledge of cable systems and installations. This knowledge is important when new standards, regulations and legislation are developed. Selcable participates in the standardization work of the non-profit organization SEK Svensk Elstandard.
