Selcable is the trade association for Swedish manufacturers of cables and insulated wire. Our mission is to promote the common interests of the cable industry by presenting our collective view on standardization issues, referrals and government matters. Selcable represents the Swedish manufacturers in the European organization Europacable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cable infrastructure<\/span><\/b> is<\/span><\/b> a<\/span><\/b> basic premise<\/span><\/b> for <\/span><\/b>electrification<\/span><\/b> and <\/span><\/b>digitization<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n

The cable<\/span> is<\/span> a<\/span> invisible<\/span> but <\/span>critical<\/span> part of <\/span>social infrastructure<\/span>. <\/span>Electrification<\/span> of <\/span>society<\/span> requires<\/span> Extensive<\/span> investments<\/span> in<\/span> power grid<\/span> and <\/span>infrastructure<\/span>. <\/span>Cables<\/span> is<\/span> a<\/span> central part of <\/span>this<\/span> development<\/span> and <\/span>enables<\/span> transfer<\/span> of <\/span>electricity<\/span>, data and <\/span>communication<\/span> in<\/span> whole<\/span> society<\/span>. <\/span>Cables<\/span> is<\/span> a<\/span> prerequisite<\/span> for <\/span>electricity supply<\/span>, digital <\/span>communication<\/span> and <\/span>working<\/span> community services<\/span>. <\/span>Without<\/span> cable infrastructure<\/span> works<\/span> neither<\/span> energy system<\/span>, <\/span>telecommunication<\/span> or<\/span> digital<\/span> services<\/span>.<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

A strong <\/span><\/b>Swedish<\/span><\/b> cable industry<\/span><\/b> strengthens<\/span><\/b> both<\/span><\/b> competitiveness<\/span><\/b> and <\/span><\/b>community preparedness<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Selcable works for the competitiveness of Swedish cable manufacturers, business conditions and the common interests of the industry. Selcable provides the Swedish market for the manufacture, distribution and sale of cables with information and reference points regarding prices for copper and aluminum and return drums. In addition, we provide a well-functioning return system for cable drums.<\/p>\n
