The cable manufacturers within Selcable have had a common system for the disposal of cable drums for many years. The cable drums can be used on average eight times before being recycled as wood waste. The return system thus saves both natural resources and contributes to a more circular and sustainable society.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

New price calculation tool<\/h1>\n

During the year, Selcable launched a new tool for calculating the price of drum returns. The hope is to motivate, facilitate and increase the number of drums returned after use.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new calculation tool is very simple. By entering the drum size, number of drums and drum quality, the value, weight, volume weight and flat meters of the drums for the freight are calculated.<\/p>\n

The tool is intended for end customers such as electrical companies, construction companies and power plants, who often build up a stock of empty drums. Intermediaries such as wholesalers can also use it for price calculation.<\/p>\n
