To ensure a clear and traceable calculation, the method will be updated from September 2026.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reported raw material prices are based on the monthly average of <strong>London Metal Exchange, LME<\/strong>, official listing <strong>Cash Seller &amp; Settlement<\/strong> for copper and aluminum respectively. For aluminum, a European premium based on LME published market data is also included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Metal prices in USD are converted to SEK with a monthly average of <strong>SEB historical selling price, Avista, for USD at 09.50<\/strong> during trading days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since July 2026, SEB updates its exchange rates for payments and transfers in foreign currency, Avista, every half hour during trading days. This means that the outcome may vary depending on the time at which the rate is retrieved. Historical rates are the 09:50 rate on that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following applies to the currency calculation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only days when the LME is open are included in the monthly average.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On days when the LME is closed, no exchange rate is quoted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the LME is open on a day when SEB does not publish a historical exchange rate, the previous day&#039;s rate at 09.50 is used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fixed time ensures that the calculation is made according to the same principle every month and that the exchange rates used can be followed and checked afterwards. The basis for the calculation is unchanged, the update only means that the rate is now retrieved at a fixed time that can be checked afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The updated method applies from September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The data is based on available market data from the London Metal Exchange and SEB.
