CPR – Fire requirements for cables save lives and money

By choosing the right cable, the consequences of a fire can be reduced. The right cable reduces the spread of smoke, destruction of
equipment and the spread of unwanted substances into the environment. Therefore, since 2014, the EU has introduced new legislation for
cables, requirements that have gradually become applicable since then.

What does the legislation say?
The European Construction Products Regulation CPR1 sets out conditions for the marketing of construction products.
