Packaging
Selcable's Packaging focus group's main task is to maintain and update the common return system for wooden cable drums. In addition, they have taken the initiative for a new circular return system for plastic drums. Focus group members consist of experts from the member companies and represent the entire industry in the focus group. Each focus group has a chair and a sponsor from Selcable's board.
Environment
Circular solutions and sustainable material management are important for the cable industry, which is actively working to develop solutions for recycling, material efficiency and circularity. Selcable's Product Data focus group is tasked with creating a common structure and standard for the management of product data and information. The cable industry's expertise is needed in the development of regulations and standards. Selcable's members have unique technical knowledge of cable systems and installations.
